SiteShrimp ("we", "our", "the app") is a defects, site, and facilities management tracking tool. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
You may upload photos to document site defects. Photos are stored on our server (PocketBase backend) and optionally on your connected Google Drive if you enable that integration. Photos may be processed by AI services (see Section 5) only when you explicitly use the AI analysis feature.
The app offers voice-to-text input using your browser's built-in Web Speech API. Voice data is processed by your browser and is not stored or transmitted by SiteShrimp.
SiteShrimp does not collect GPS or geolocation data. Site locations are entered manually by users (Level, Zone, Room, Grid).
The app may interact with the following services when you configure them:
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with third-party services you explicitly configure (as listed in Section 5) and with team members within your project.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 8a).

Retention period: Deleted data is removed immediately and permanently. There is no additional retention period. Data shared with third-party services you configured (e.g. Google Drive, Telegram) must be deleted separately through those services.

Project data shared with your team members within joint projects will be retained for other team members unless the entire project is deleted.
We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to project data is restricted to authorised team members.
SiteShrimp is designed for construction and facilities management professionals and is not intended for use by children under 18.
